【摘要】:ThispartofISO10705specifiesamethodforthedetectionandenumerationofsomaticcoliphagesbyincubatingthesamplewithanappropriatehoststrain.Themethodisapplicabletoallkindsofwater,sedimentsandsludgeextracts,wherenecessaryafterdilution.Themethodisalsoapplicabletoshellfishextracts.Inthecaseoflowphagenumbers,apreconcentrationstepmaybenecessaryforwhichaseparateInternationalStandardwillbedeveloped.NOTEItisdesirableforInternationalStandardstobeadoptedaswidelyaspossible.ThispartofISO10705includesreferencetoalternativeprocedureswhichobviatetheneedforexpensivematerialsorequipmentwhichmaynotbereadilyavailableindevelopingcountries.Useofthesealternativeswillnotaffecttheperformanceofthismethod.
