【摘要】:ThispartofEN13544specifiesrequirementsfortubingtobeusedwithequipmentforthetherapeuticadministrationofrespirablegasesindomiciliary,ambulanceandhospitalpracticeincludingtheinterfacetotheequipmenti.e.nipplesandscrewthreadedconnectors.Thistubingismainlyusedwithoxygen,airormixturesofthesegases.Theinterfacespecificationsaregiventoensureinterchangeabilityofrespiratorytherapyequipmenttherebyenablingpatientstoreceivecontinuoustreatmentinalltheseclinicalsituations.Weight-bearingscrew-threadedconnectorsarespecifiedforuseattheoutletofe.g.flowmeterstowhichdevicessuchashumidifiersornebulizerscanbeattached.NOTEThisstandarddoesnotspecifythedeviceswheretheseconnectorshavetobeused.Itisexpectedthatspecificdevicestandardswillspecifythedeviceswheretheseconnectorsaregoingtotheusede.g.ENISO10651-4,EN738-1andEN13220.
