【摘要】:ThispartofISO294specifiesatwo-cavitymould(designatedthetypeFISOmould)fortheinjectionmouldingof80mmx90mmplateswithapreferredthicknessof3mm.Suitabletestspecimens[ISO527-2type1BAtensiletestspecimensortype1(80mmx10mm)bars]arethenmachinedordie-cutfromtheplates(seeannexA)andusedtoobtaininformationontheanisotropyofthermoplasticparts.Investigationoftheanisotropyofmaterialsisaspecialprocedureintendedtoprovideguidanceinthedesignofmouldingsforend-useapplicationsandisnotintendedasaqualitycontroltool.Intheinjectionmouldingofthermoplasticmaterials,theflowofmoltenpolymermayinfluencetheorientationoffillerssuchasfibreglassortheorientationofpolymerchains.Thismayresultinanisotropicbehaviour.Theknowledgeofanisotropicbehaviourisvaluableindesigningplasticparts.ForthepurposesofthispartofISO294,theflowdirectionisdefinedasthedirectionfromthegatetothefarendofthemouldcavity,andthecrossdirectionasthedirectionperpendiculartotheflowdirection.ThetypeFmouldisnotintendedtoreplacethetypeDmouldusedtodeterminethemouldingshrinkageofthermoplastics.
